As with earlier versions of Office, enabling AutoRecover in Word , Excel or PowerPoint will save versions while you are working in your file at the interval you select.

Now, you can choose to keep the last autosaved version of a file in case you accidentally close that file without saving, so that you can restore it the next time that you open the file. Also, while you are working in your file, you can access a listing of the autosaved files from the Microsoft Office Backstage view.

Important You must have Save AutoRecover information To learn more about these options and how to set them up, see Automatically save and recover Office files. It's possible more than one of your files is corrupt. If the issue occurs with any project file, my next thought is a corrupt Global or a corruption of Project itself. I'm using MS Project I have a master work plan set-up with numerous team master plans linked to it as sub-projects, all linked to one master resource pool.

I am trying to add various non-working days to the standard calendar but can't seem to get the changes to save. For example, when I add the non-working days, I can see they are there in the file.

When I save, exit and re-open the file, the changes I made to the standard calendar are no longer there. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there something incorrect about how I'm going about this? Are you making the change to the calendar in the subproject file, the resource pool, or the master?

If you create a new file, can you save changes to the standard calendar? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Okay, you have three separate file structures, the master file, multiple subprojects and a resource pool file. When you edit the standard calendar which file is that associated with? Did you transfer the edited calendar to your Global?

May I suggest the following. Do not simply edit the Standard calendar, instead, create a new calendar based on the standard, if that is appropriate, and then use the Organizer to transfer that new calendar to your Global.
